Step 0…visualise PERFECT IDESL VERSION of you!

Hello Everyone! It’s Emi again!

Woohoo! I am very excited (also nervous in a good way) for my upcoming online event! For the detail…please click the bellow button. 😆 I can’t wait! I have been anticipating to get out there and connect with people through Minimalist way.

At this point today, I received 12 attendants’ registrations. For thanking them, I want to give my best to the session that I’m hosting! Having people showing up will mean the world to me, and this reconfirm my sneaky feeling that…my skill can actually be used, needed and be lead to contribution!

Due to the event is next week…(6 more days from when I am writing this), I am having lost of preparations to do. So, Today’s post will be rather a shorter one.

It is going to be about…

🧠IMAGE TRAIN 💪 ~Build up your visualisation skill for setting success for life~

In previous post I have mentioned my experience in writing down with some guided question. ✏️I created my own sets of guided prompts.

The reason we do this is because…( I feel like broken record when I say this, but i will emphasise again):

Minimalism is not the end goal. It is a SKILLSET! 🛠️

One day in a train ride with a friend, Annie (not her real name) said to me about something that led me to think. 🤔She has been wanting to declutter her living space for long time, as she said she can feel very depressed from the state of accumulated stuff in her house. (Live with her partner and their Chihuahua, and full of her partner’s passed away grandma’s belongings… plus fair bit of their own possessions after years of living together) she said:

I don’t know how to commit to this…we have been wanting to go minimal for long time Emi! …there is just so much stuff… Minimalism, it is my goal! But how to do it? 😮‍💨

Then I replied to her…very condescendingly 😖, I must admit…I said:

Well… what is your reason to do this? 🫵It is hard process… you will get lost, and feel frustrated if you do not have a clear idea of what you want from this (decluttering).

I still remember that my friend seemed felt uncomfortable. 😳 She was not able to answer my tricky question at the time. Of course… I put her on the hard spot. There is not so many people can perfectly, and articulately state what they set out for their life to. So… that was unkind of me to do that.

However, I stand by what I mean when I say this… without clear set of purpose of reason, decluttering process will more likely to be unsuccessful and be abandoned in the middle. Which anybody would not want. It leave a bad taste, and you feel like “ah, Minimalism, it is not for me.” Or “I am not type of person can do this.”

BUT! As I mentioned earlier… minimalism is a skill, toolset. It has noting to do with your personality. Would you say: “ah, my personality is not suitable for swimming” ? No. Minimalist way is to be learnt, with time. And of course with practice. Just like swimming.

I would like to set my participants in events and you for success!! So… I urge you to ask yourself:

  • Where is your life at, and what do you want to focus on now? 
  • What kind of change is required? 
  • How to start live your life being the “perfect version” of you

Step 0 of minimalistic way: 🌈PERFECT IDEAL LIFE🌈 able to see, able to do.

All our Declutter if process is unique, it can be only tailored to your life. Naturally, we need our own Roadmap and guidelines that is specific to you.

Listen to your heart ❤️😌, accept your thoughts 💭 ! These are my wishes for your image training you are about to practice…

  • Find hope, and be excited about them.
  • Discover your subconscious. What you want and don’t want in your life.
  • Let the positivity flow. do not deny them. Nothing is ridiculous to write down. It’s beginning of new possibilities! 🌅
  • Do not need answer some of the prompts if it’s not relevant to you. If you find hard to let your thought comes to you with some topics… revisit again later. It takes time!

This is critical step that you just took to help you to go forward. Now we need to make accumulative adjustment to get closer to your ideal, everyday!! We will talk more on that in other time!!
